{"id":2781,"date":"2022-11-24T19:21:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T18:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dosgradoscapital.com\/new-growth-phase-for-dos-grados-with-icg-as-shareholder\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T18:20:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T16:20:13","slug":"new-growth-phase-for-dos-grados-with-icg-as-shareholder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dosgradoscapital.com\/en\/new-growth-phase-for-dos-grados-with-icg-as-shareholder\/","title":{"rendered":"New growth phase of Dos Grados, with ICG as a shareholder"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ee03c0dcdee232351734f6695b923958\">The first milestone will be the 126.5 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Portugal.<\/h4>\n\n<p>The recent acquisition of Dos Grados by the British investment fund Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) represents a fundamental support for the objective of consolidating its initial investment in renewable electricity generation projects and, in addition, diversifying its portfolio, also betting on energy storage and hydrogen, and other vectors that contribute to a just ecological transition.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the short term, the objective is to start construction of most of the projects under development in Spain and Portugal (four solar photovoltaic assets and two hybrid -solar and wind-), representing a total capacity of 900 MW.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dos Grados plans to invest \u20ac200 million in the Iberian Peninsula and the first milestone will be the 126.5 MW solar PV plant in Portugal, a project belonging to the 2019 tenders, which will start construction in early 2023; work on the rest of the portfolio will be carried out between 2023 and 2024.
