Dos Grados promotes sustainability at the IV Economic CyL Forum

At the 4th Sustainability Forum of Castilla y León Económica, the company presented its initiatives to promote biodiversity, local employment and land regeneration.

Within the framework of the IV Sustainability Forum of Castilla y León Económica, Dos Grados has reaffirmed its commitment to a comprehensive sustainability vision that goes far beyond the production of clean energy. Luis Palacios Castañeda, CEO of the company, participated in the round table “Sustainability at the core of the strategy”, together with Julián Herrero and Andrés Ortega, with Alberto Cagigas Pérez as moderator.

During his speech, Luis Palacios highlighted how the company applies its sustainability strategy in its operating projects, promoting initiatives that generate a positive environmental and social impact. These include wildlife monitoring programs to promote biodiversity, the promotion of sustainable grazing and local employment, as well as collaboration with schools, universities and associations in educational and community projects.

Dos Grados also works actively in fire prevention and in the regeneration of affected areas, reinforcing its commitment to protecting and improving the territory. “The energy transition is only real if it is built together with the communities and leaves a positive legacy for the territory,” said Palacios.

With this vision, the company maintains sustainability as a fundamental axis of its strategy, demonstrating that clean energy can be a driver of local development and environmental conservation.
