The solar project was explained to local residents at a training day.
Dos Grados organised an information day with the inhabitants of the Pero Viseu parish council to explain the main details of the project to build a photovoltaic solar plant in Fundão, near the parish.
During the day, the neighbours had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the progress of the project, the characteristics of the installations and their commitment to the local environment.
Luis Palacios, CEO of Dos Grados, and various members of the team answered questions and queries from those in attendance, as well as conveying the economic and social progress involved in investing in renewable energies in the area to contribute to a sustainable future.
The 126.5 MW Fundão solar photovoltaic plant began construction at the beginning of 2023 and, as with all its projects, Dos Grados maintains its social and environmental commitment, generating a positive impact on the environment.
Fundão belongs to Castelo Branco, one of the 18 districts that make up Portugal.
