The regulation of the Spanish market has been addressed.
Dos Grados has participated in the second edition of RENMAD Storage, which ATA Insights has held in Toledo, with the aim of showing the importance of having a regulation that clearly supports energy storage. To this end, topics such as regulation, markets, technology and self-consumption have been addressed.
The event was attended by experts in the energy sector, including representatives of leading companies and organizations in the field of renewable energy and storage.
Representing Dos Grados was Luis Palacios, CEO of the company, and Eduardo Pérez, technical director.
In this edition, the conference focused on the latest regulation and legislation in the Spanish storage market, the plans for PERTE funds dedicated to incentivize renewable and storage projects, and the capacity and adjustment services needed for the grid in the short and medium term. In addition, current business models for storage projects were compared and different technologies were analyzed, including lithium, flow batteries, thermal storage and pumped storage.
